State Department advisories for travel to Sonora.

EspaƱol

From time to time, the U.S. Department of State issues travel advisories for various regions of the world where there may be dangers for visiting tourists.

Understandably, people are concerned about the level of security in Mexico, given the frequent news reports about cartel violence in the country.

And while there has been some violence in Sonora, it has not been as prevalent as that along the Texas-Mexico border, and has not affected tourist areas.

At any rate, we'll do our best to keep you informed of travel advisories, while providing information about fun places to visit and party in Sonora!
